History of the
restaurant

The Troika restaurant is the result of the tireless work
of three generations
of one family.
Continuity of traditions is
our main value and pride.

Troika is not just a gastronomic point on the map
of St. Petersburg, but a living chronicle of the city.

1916

Apartment house of the porcelain
manufacturer I. E. Kuznetsov

The building was erected in 1915-1916 by a group of architects:
Velikovsky B.M., Rosenberg A.V. and Buryshkin D.P.
in the neoclassical style.

The first and second floors with arched windows were intended
for a porcelain shop and a cinema.
The third and fourth floors —
apartments for noble citizens.

The building is included in the Unified State Register
of objects
of cultural heritage of the peoples of the Russian Federation and is
a monument
of culture of regional significance.

1978

Opening of the Troika restaurant

On the site of the city cafe "Troika", after a major
reconstruction,
the restaurant of the same name opened
with a stage.
It was headed by Pasynchuk Voldemar Grigorievich.

Under his leadership in Leningrad and St. Petersburg
were opened
"Brigantina", "Literary Cafe",
restaurant "Na Fontanke",
the Palace on Liteiny
and the "Troika" boutique.

The restaurant hall has undergone several
major reconstructions, but has retained
its originality

The show-variety repertoire
of "Troika"
includes more than 100
original numbers,
each
of which accurately
reflects the spirit
of its time

The Troika restaurant opened
almost half a century ago and over this time has become
a true city legend —
a place people come to
for warmth, taste
and atmosphere.

In the 21st century our goal is to remain a favourite meeting
place,
preserving the traditions of hospitality
and complementing them with modern
gastronomic
solutions
and a new level of service.
